Review summary

Powered by AI
Dakota Newcastle enjoys a great quayside location, near the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and the Millennium Bridge. Guests consistently praise the modern, well-laid-out rooms with comfortable beds, and some find the lighting particularly lovely. The hotel's bar area and restaurant also receive positive mentions, particularly the food being worth the price, even cheaper than some tomahawks. While parking charges have been a point of concern for some, many guests find the price very good for the hotel's standard.

amazing room gorgeous bathroom junior suite expensive breakfast cold breakfast apologetic staff
The room was amazing. The bathroom was gorgeous. I stayed in a junior suite with a view. There were a couple of little issues with the room. For example, a burn mark was on the desk. It looked like it came from a previous resident's straighteners, and the bathroom tap was loose (i told the reception about it).
I found the breakfast to be a bit of a disaster. It was expensive, and the order was taken, then forgotten. It took ages to come, and then it was cold. The staff were very apologetic, though, and they refunded it (that helped).
